Questions
Files, fonts, Canva and changes, answered plainly.
The files
Who owns the files?
Who owns the files is set out in the written plan, before you agree. The plan comes after the free call, and nothing is booked until you have read it.
Which files do I get?
Each package lists its files by type on the Packages page: logo versions, colours, fonts, Canva templates and a brand sheet or guide. Print pieces come as a print-ready PDF plus a version you can edit in Canva.
Are the fonts and pictures properly licensed?
The fonts in a kit are free for commercial use, and any stock used is properly licensed.
Canva, printing and trade marks
Do I need a paid Canva plan?
Any paid Canva plan you need is yours to pay for, and it is not included in any price. Ask on the free call which parts of your kit would use one.
Is printing included?
No. Printing is not included: print pieces come as print-ready files for the printer you choose.
Will my logo be protected as a trade mark?
Trade mark registration is not included, and nothing in a package implies trade mark protection.
Changes and booking
What is a round of changes?
One set of changes you send back together, which Laura then makes. Every package and add-on states how many rounds it includes.
What if I want more changes?
Changes beyond the included rounds are £30 an hour, agreed with you before they start.
You have 14 days to change your mind after booking. See How booking works.

Can I have just one piece, like a business card?
Yes. Cards, flyers, price lists, signs and website words can each be ordered on their own: see Add-ons.
How does it start?
With a free discovery call, then a written plan: what Laura would make, its fixed price, its rounds of changes and who owns the files. Every booking is confirmed by email before work starts.

The examples on this site
Is the work shown here Laura's?
No. Every picture of design work on this site is an illustration, and Fernleaf Hair is a fictional business, made up to show how one look carries across a card, a post, a price list and a sign.
