What these sites keep, and why, in plain words.

No tracking

Laura's sites carry no tracking, no analytics and no advertising. Nothing on them follows you to other sites.

One cookie, only if you choose it

If you press the light or dark button, the sites remember that choice in one cookie called lt-theme, across all of Laura's sites, for up to a year. If you never press it, no cookie is set. To delete it and go back to your device's own setting, press Theme: match my device at the foot of any page.

Kept for this visit only

Two small notes are kept in your browser for this visit only, and are gone when you close the tab. Neither ever leaves your browser:

• lt-entered remembers that you have already stepped in through Laura's stamp, so it opens quickly the next time.
• lt-bg remembers whether you paused the moving stamp and background at the front door.

The host

The sites are served by Cloudflare, which handles each request so the page can reach your device.

The host keeps a record of each request to these sites, including the IP address it came from, to keep the sites secure and to deliver them. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: keeping the sites safe and working. The detailed record of each request is kept for up to 7 days. The host's security records, which can include the IP address, are kept for up to 31 days.

When you get in touch

Your message travels through the service you choose (the form on Linktree, Instagram or LinkedIn), under that service's own privacy terms, and reaches Laura. She uses it to reply to you and to arrange your call. The lawful basis is taking the steps you ask for before any contract is agreed.

Your rights

You can ask Laura what she holds about you, and ask her to correct it or delete it. You can also object to records kept on the basis of legitimate interests. You can complain to Laura, and to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commission's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
